Changing seasons
The sun set at 4:44 pm today. It was almost dark by the time I got home from work. I stepped out of my car and thought, “twilight?? Already?” I didn’t take notice the seasons were changing until then.
I felt the urge to get my camera and reflect on my surroundings. My mind yelled, But it’s cold! It’s getting dark! but my body just kept walking. I picked up my camera, walked outside, and welcomed the changing of the seasons.

Some artistic soul hung this on a tree in the alley next to my apartment.

This too. (I think the little leaf hanging on the corner is cute)

My eyes kept drifting toward the ground to see the drying leaves.

And back again to see where they fell from.

I let the colors lead my steps.

Then to another street to snap a pic of myself. I always feel self-conscious taking pictures of myself in public. Especially with an SLR camera since it’s so big.

No one seemed to notice.

I was glad to see other people appreciating the fall weather.

Then continued around the block for one last photo. I made it home just before the sun set. I love the changing seasons.
